Real Impact — Privacy Policy

Real Impact ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Real Impact Terms of Service at realimpacthq.com/terms.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you interact with Real Impact, you may provide:
- Identifying information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address (typically when you opt in to a lead magnet, purchase an Offering, or enroll in a coaching program).
- Payment information: billing details, payment method (processed through Stripe and/or GHL Payments; Real Impact does not store full card numbers on our systems).
- Coaching content: in the course of coaching engagements, you may submit recordings of your real seller calls, written weekly status reports, notes, deal-specific details, and other materials. This content is governed by the Real Impact Recording and Intellectual Property Policy at realimpacthq.com/ip-policy.
- Profile information: investor archetype quiz responses, intake form responses, application form answers.
- Communications: emails, SMS messages, support tickets, calls, and chat conversations with Real Impact.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit Real Impact websites (realimpacthq.com, gutsycloser.com, gutsyinvestor.com, gutsymentor.com, and related domains), we automatically collect:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, language settings.
- Usage data: pages viewed, time spent, clicks, scroll depth, navigation paths.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 4 below.
- Pixel data: when you interact with our advertisements on Facebook, Google, YouTube, or other platforms, those platforms may transmit data to us via their respective pixel and conversion APIs.
1.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Payment processors (Stripe, GHL Payments): purchase confirmation, payment method type, transaction status.
- Advertising platforms (Facebook, Google, etc.): conversion events, attribution data.
- CRM platform (GoHighLevel / Real Impact CRM): contact records, tag history, pipeline stage.
- Public sources: if you cite Real Impact methodology publicly or interact with Real Impact on social media.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
(a) Deliver Offerings. Process your purchase, deliver the Offering you bought, provide access to materials and live sessions, send program-related emails and SMS. (b) Coach you. Review submitted recordings and written work, provide personalized feedback, populate your Investor Archetype profile. (c) Communicate with you. Respond to support inquiries, send transactional communications (purchase receipts, agreement confirmations, schedule reminders), send program-update emails. (d) Market to you. With your consent (typically captured at opt-in or via post-purchase email preferences), send marketing emails, SMS, and re-engagement campaigns. You may opt out of marketing at any time (see Section 5). (e) Improve our Offerings. Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve content, pricing, and delivery. (f) Protect against fraud and abuse. Detect chargeback fraud, abuse of free tiers, unauthorized sharing of paid materials. (g) Comply with legal obligations. Respond to subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory inquiries.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information.
We share information only:
(a) With service providers acting on our behalf, including: GoHighLevel (CRM, marketing automation, email/SMS), Stripe (payment processing), Zoom (live session hosting), Drive / Notion (content storage), e-signature platforms (Signaturely, Crove, GHL Documents), Skool (community), faster-whisper transcription (call critique submissions). These providers are contractually bound to use your information only for the purpose of providing services to Real Impact.
(b) With other cohort members, for cohort-style Offerings only: your name and contact information may be shared with fellow cohort members to facilitate the cohort experience. Confidentiality rules apply (see IP Policy §4).
(c) For legal reasons, when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect Real Impact's rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
(d) In connection with a business transfer. If Real Impact is acquired by, merged with, or assigned to another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified by email and/or by a prominent notice on the Real Impact website before your information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Real Impact websites use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to:
(a) Operate the site (e.g., remember your login session, cart, preferences); (b) Measure usage (analytics, Google Analytics, GHL native tracking); (c) Personalize content (e.g., show you Camp instead of Course based on prior browsing); (d) Run advertising (Facebook Pixel, Google Conversion API, others).
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact site functionality.
5. Your Rights and Choices
(a) Email marketing opt-out. Click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email. Transactional emails (purchase receipts, program-update notices, refund confirmations) cannot be opted out of as long as you are an active customer.
(b) SMS marketing opt-out. Reply "STOP" to any marketing SMS.
(c) Access to your data. You may request a copy of the information Real Impact holds about you by emailing tim@realimpacthq.com.
(d) Correction. If your information is inaccurate, you may request correction by emailing tim@realimpacthq.com.
(e) Deletion. You may request deletion of your information, subject to Real Impact's right to retain information required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically: invoices and tax records are retained for 7 years; coaching session recordings may be retained per the Recording Policy).
(f) Texas residents: the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA, effective July 2024) provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information held by businesses meeting the statute's thresholds. Real Impact will honor TDPSA rights requests received at tim@realimpacthq.com.
(g) California residents (if applicable): if you reside in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides additional rights including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any "sale" of personal information (Real Impact does not sell personal information). To exercise CCPA rights, email tim@realimpacthq.com.
(h) European residents (if applicable): if you reside in the EU/UK, the GDPR provides additional rights including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing. To exercise GDPR rights, email tim@realimpacthq.com.
6. Data Security
Real Impact implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include access controls, encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where supported by our service providers, and regular security review.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Real Impact will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
7. Data Retention
Real Impact retains your information for as long as necessary to provide Offerings and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:
- Contact information: retained for as long as you remain a Real Impact customer or marketing-opt-in subscriber.
- Purchase records and invoices: retained for seven (7) years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Coaching content (recordings, written reports, intake forms): retained according to the Recording and Intellectual Property Policy.
- Communications: retained for as long as needed for customer-support history and quality assurance.
When information is no longer needed, Real Impact will delete or anonymize it.
8. Children's Privacy
Real Impact Offerings are intended for adults age 18 and older. Real Impact does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe Real Impact has inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact tim@realimpacthq.com and Real Impact will delete it promptly.
9. International Transfers
Real Impact is located in Texas, United States. If you are accessing the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the U.S.
By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S. and to its processing under U.S. law.
10. Changes to This Policy
Real Impact may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will be updated. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or by a prominent notice on the Real Impact website.
Your continued use of the Services after the Effective Date of a modified Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
